A short Japanese floor-mattress guide built from listing facts and cited public videos. Nothing on it was tested hands-on by us.

Every spec row comes from the product's Amazon listing text, captured Oct 23, 2026. Category notes are paraphrased from named public YouTube videos about Japanese-style floor futons, linked beside them. Those videos discuss the category and may not review these exact ASINs. We don't use Amazon customer reviews, ratings or prices.

Ranking
We ranked by how clearly each listing fits guest-room, dorm or small-apartment floor sleep, then by size and thickness clarity on the listing, then by matching independent public-video coverage of Japanese floor futons. Low stock and missing size facts lower a pick. We don't use prices, Amazon ratings or Amazon reviews.
